LoveMyShoes is one of the largest women’s shoe store chains in Long Island. They have six brick and mortar stores servicing the area and are adding more every year. LoveMyShoes.com is their online store, a site built by women for women with a mission to provide the best possible shopping experience on the internet.
They know women. Their entire site and product line revolves exclusively around the female foot. Their buyers keep ahead of the trends to make sure they're always selling the latest styles from the hottest designers.
We received the Sienna Wedge by Jump from their online shop. It is made from a white metallic leather and suede upper. It features a hip Asian letter print on the side and an elastic band for a secure fit. It has a lightly padded footbed and a 2 inch rubber heel. It retails for $79.98.
The shoe is super chic and amazingly comfortable to wear. In fact I wore it to a Luminaria Ceremony at the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life®™. I walked three laps around the track and could have walked a lot more but it was getting late and I had to go home. I was crazy to test a new pair of non-walking shoes around the track but it turned out great – no blisters! Of course, what’s even more insane is that the shoe is white, lovely by the way with a pair of white shorts like this Mina Bermuda by BCBG Max Azria. It was all dusty by the time I got home. Luckily, it cleans off easily. I wiped it down with a wet paper towel and it was as good as new. But enough about the shoes, let’s talk more about the shop that sells the shoe.
LoveMyShoes.com is easy to navigate. There’s an advanced search feature where you can filter by brand, size, color, price, or a combination of any of them, which makes finding what you’re looking for, a breeze. In addition to shoes, the site carries accessories as well – handbags, belts, hosiery, even make-up.
Once you place an order, you can expect your package to arrive within 7 to 14 business days. At this time, they do not offer express shipping, only ground. The shipping rate is a flat fee of $5.95 which is waived if your order totals $90 or more. Return shipping is free. This is always a plus. I know when I shop online that I’m more inclined to place an order if I know that I won’t have to pay to send it back if I’m not happy with it for some reason.
Another thing I look for when I shop online is someone live I can speak with if I have any questions. If I can’t get a hold of anyone, I tend to abandon my cart. LoveMyShoes.com has live operators you can chat with online. I tried it three times on different days and different times. It’s a very cool feature. I asked about their return policy on one occasion, shipping and handling time on another, and discount coupons.
On all three sessions, my questions were answered knowledgably. In fact, it is through one of these chat sessions that I found out that if I register online, I can receive special offers that are emailed exclusively to registered members. I also tried contacting customer service via email. Right up front, they let it be known that responses to email questions may take 1-3 business days. However, I emailed my inquiry in the afternoon and early the next morning, the response was waiting in my inbox. Pretty good response time I'd say, considering the warning.
