Born in Scotland, Susse Linton grew up with artistry in her blood. With relatives having backgrounds in architecture, graphics, silver smithing, and painting, it was only natural she followed the same creative path as those before her.
This path led her to study a BA (Hons) Degree in Textiles at Edinburg College of Art with post graduate studies at the Winchester School of Art. After graduating, Susse started her international career as a freelance textile designer and illustrator for editorial and design houses. Her textile designs for some of the most prestigious fashion houses in the world have graced the catwalks of London, Paris, Milan, New York and Tokyo.
After tasting success in the designer market, Susse embarked on a new venture that brought together her love of handbags and her unique textile designs. This endeavor resulted in the creation of her label and the launching in London (Autumn 1999) of Susse Collection, the home of the cute handbag.
Now based in Syndey, Australia, Susse Collection continues to thrive on the philosophy of adding fun to your day and making your day more pleasant. Drawing inspiration from the Australian lifestyle, Susse’s new Summer Love Collection is full of bright colors featuring bikini girls dancing in the sand and dogs wearing sunglasses.

We received the Bunny Girl from Susse’s Wallet Collection. It measures 8” x 4” x ¾“ with a 100% cotton canvas exterior and a 100% leather interior. It retails for $90 AUD, $73.86 USD based on today’s exchange rate.
This is the sweetest, most adorable wallet, not to mention functional! It’s so delightfully unusual and whimsical. It really does put a smile on my face whenever I look at it, the stretched out bunny that is, which by the way is printed on both sides of the wallet. It has a zip closure which opens up to a roomy interior. In the middle is a zip pocket, perfect for carrying coins or other small items. On either side of the zip pocket are open areas for bills, receipts, even a checkbook. Then there are 4 credit card pockets and 2 more full size open pockets. It held everything that was in my old wallet and then some. Previously, I kept my business cards in a separate case because there was no room in my old wallet. Now I can carry everything I need in one.
Functionally, it serves more than its purpose. When I need to run a quick errand to the supermarket or if I’m meeting someone for coffee, I just want to grab my wallet and go. With my old wallet, I couldn’t do that because it was too thick for me to be able to comfortably hold in my hands. The Bunny Girl wallet is long and not as thick, so it’s much easier to carry around. It's also fun for me to use it by itself, out of my everyday big bag, because that is when I receive the most compliments about how cute and adorable it is.
The quality is superb. Both zippers glide smoothly as you open and close, and the leather interior is durable so you'll get a lot of use out of it.
