Vermeil Mix Triple Charm Necklace by GK Designs, $90
Born and raised in New York, Georgianna Koulianos graduated from the Scarsdale Alternative School, where she started exploring her creative and artistic interests. Her lifelong interest in jewelry was honed at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, and later merged with her training in intentional word therapy to create jewelry that aims to enhance both the physical and spiritual beauty of the wearer.
Fifteen years ago, Georgianna founded GK Designs whose fusion of fine jewelry and bold wording created a sensation in the jewelry industry. Often imitated but never equaled, Georgianna’s designs have become one of the most original and often duplicated jewelry ideas of the last two decades. She hand-carves each of the letters in the wordings on her jewelry. Each is hand-assembled using only the finest materials and have been worn by celebrities such as Isabella Rossellini and Jane Fonda.

We received the 16” Vermeil Mix Triple Charm Necklace from them. It retails for $90. Of the 3 charms, the believe disc is the largest, about the size of a dime. Note that he charms in the photo are enlarged to show detail. The peace sign is a bit smaller than the disc, and the heart is the smallest of the three. All are lightly hammered. Overall, the necklace is very feminine and ultra dainty.
With the charms in gold vermeil, copper, and sterling silver, this necklace covers the three most popular metals used in jewelry. It offers such versatility that it is my new ‘go to’ necklace.
Have you ever been hesitant to accessorize with both silver and gold together? I surely have. I usually go for one or the other, but never combined. Now that I have, I absolutely love it.
Typically, I have to plan for my accessories ahead of time so I can properly match the necklace with the earrings, bracelet, and/or ring. With this triple charm necklace, I don’t have to prepare in advance. I mix and match it with my other silver and gold jewelry and they look fantastic together! Back to the necklace, it has a fun, yet refined look. I like wearing mine with a pair of shorts and a long scoop tank. It’s also terrific with a tube romper. I like to layer it with a longer necklace, silver, gold, or both.
It has a cool, casual vibe which is more than enough for you to want your own, but additionally, it’s also inspirational. So you have two reasons to wear it. One is to accessorize and the other is to rouse yourself with more self-assurance and more confidence, so you too can believe!
