Disco Ball Ring from Simply My Style, $44
SimplyMyStyle.com was born out of the need and desire to offer a good variety of fashion jewelry at affordable prices. Their pieces range in price from $12 to $45. We received one of their higher-priced items - the disco ball ring priced at $44.
To start with, they took great care in packaging the item. It was presented in the cutest, tiniest, clear chinese-food takeout container with a metal handle, and a lime green raffia ribbon wrapped around it. Inside, buried in silver tissue paper, I found a translucent silver pouch with the ring inside it. It was like opening a gift! You're so excited, you can't wait to see what's inside.
Well, what's inside is a white gold plated dome-shaped ring surrounded by Swarovski crystals. It is a gorgeous piece with crystals sparkling all around the dome. The image to the left doesn't do the ring justice because it fails to show the sparkle the ring creates from any and every angle. It's not for the faint of heart though because it is a lot of bling, but if you like a bit of flashy, you will absolutely adore this ring.
I happen to like some bling but with my petite frame, I was a bit concerned this may be a bit much for me. Well you can put that concern to rest if you're small like me. Wear it with a pair of jeans (try this 5-pocket highrise in kimble by James Jeans) and a simple black top (check out this black knit cowlneck sweater by Design History), and this ring is the only accessory you will need - other than a cute date of course!
At $44, it's a great deal. Elsewhere will most likely be easily 2-3 times as much. It's guaranteed to give your old outfits a whole new fabulous look.
