Hilary Duff was spotted going for a casual stroll through Toluca Lake with hockey player boyfriend Mike Comrie on June 25, and I'm sure you can agree that Hil's style is definitely questionable at times... and methinks this is one of those time! I just think she's DTM- Doin' Too Much. If you like particular elements of Hil's ensemble, I suggest maybe going the simpler route, and perhaps pairing her vibrant tank (similar to Prarie New York's Column Top in Acid) with denim shorts (check out Joe's Jeans' Braided 5 Pocket Short in Berkley) like she does here, but minusing the fishnets and knee-high boots. Fishnets and knee-highs? You're not working the corner, Hil! Since we are in June, I think she could have done without the scarf (if you like the patterned scarf look for, say, nighttime, check out Alchemy's Colt 45 Scarf in Pink), but the sleek shades (similar to JeeVice Optics' Edgy Sunglasses in Black/Ash Brown) and heirloom-inspired earrings (like Kuo Ting Jewelry's Antique Pendant Earrings in Gold) are nice touches. Overall though, Hil has definitely looked better and definitely looked worse- I mean this isn't a fashion disaster or anything. And did anyone else notice the grilling book Hilary is holding? So cool if she is aspiring to be a grillmaster!

WHO COULD BE MEAN TO HILARY?

Hilary Duff worked it on the red carpet of the third annual Loveday celebration and Cartier Love Charity Bracelet Event in Los Angeles on June 18. Hil rocked a 3.1 Philip Lim frock and Jimmy Choo's "Genie" heels, and to get Hil's dress for less, check out similarly hued offerings from Smitten (like the A-line Turtleneck Dress in Blueberry), Ella Moss (like the Rhianna Cami Dress in Wave), and Lotta Stensson (like the Shirred Tube Dress in Peacock). She finished off her look with a striking gold necklace, a white clutch and black nails. To answer the question I posed in my title of this sighting, it seems that former Sex Pistol frontman, Johnny "Rotten" Lydon, was definitely mean to Hil! At the Mojo Music Awards in London recently, a source claims that Johnny "was saying some nasty things to her and her publicist had to step in. Then a bit later, when the artists were being brought together for the final big picture, she had to be kept away from some of the shots because she was so up set. She was in tears. It was a nasty thing to see." Poor Hil! I wonder why he felt the need to be so nasty?

DUFF LOVES HER SOME LAKERS

Hilary Duff was spotted heading to the Neil George Salon (right) on June 10, and leaving (left) with a freshly colored, layered 'do. Looking very excited in the picture on the left, I have to say... Hil is really starting to look like older sister Haylie! I almost had to do a double take. For her day of salon pampering, Hil started with a pair of pinstripe trouser denim (like Tag Jeans' Bootcut Trouser in Silver Pinstripe) and paired with a black cami with cutout detailing (similar to Gold Hawk's Tribal Eyelet Camisole in Moonless Night) and a cozy-looking sand colored scarf. Duff accessorized with a hugely oversized bag (which, funnily enough, is extremely similar to the one Eva Longoria is sporting in the sighting below!), large aviators and bangles galore, in white, gold, and black (like Rachel Leigh's Audrey Python Knot Bangle in Black). While Hilary is gearing up for the release of her John Cusack-directed dark comedy, War, Inc., she is also making time to take in a few games from her favorite team... the Lakers! Hil was spotted on Tuesday at Game Three of the 2008 NBA Finals with boyfriend Mike Comrie, cheering and watching in excitement. Duff was also seen chatting with Vanessa Minillo, who is still being photographed for... what again?

GOOD GIRL STAYING GOOD

Hilary Duff was spotted leaving Mr. Chow on May 26, seeming to be in an awesome mood as she left the restaurant erupting in fits of giggle. Gigglemonster! For her nighttime look, Hil started with a black tank (like Sydney Los Angeles' Sydney Tank in Chateau Black) under a black vest (check out Black Halo's Shawl Collar Vest in Black) and paired with big bling earrings and a bright yellow clutch. Down below, Hil chose a pair of super wide leg denim (similar to Kasil Jeans' Sadie Trouser Jean in Frost) accompanied by a sort of beaded hanging belt thing. First the tassel now this? Hilary sure has a liking for strange waist-wear! While many of her Hollywood peers have done everything under the sun to deem them "bad girls," it seems that Duff is just fine with her "goodie two shoes" image. She told OK! Magazine, "I know people think I'm a good girl and I'm not going to fight it and be like, ‘I'm not, I'm bad.’ I don't really care that people think that. I'd rather them think that than think I'm like everyone else.” Ah, one of the many refreshing reasons why I love this girl.

HIL DISHES ON FILMING SCORPION SCENE

Hilary Duff was spotted staggering out of Villa on Tuesday night, May 20, in Hollywood, seeming to have taken such a liking to the tassel that holds her curtains open that she turned it into a belt! For the rest of her look, Hil started with a basic black tank (like Laura Dahl's Racerback Tank in Black) and multi-length, layered necklaces (Robyn Rhodes' Grace Necklace in Gold is a great multi-length offering). Next up was a pair of chocolate wash skinnies (take a peek at Denim of Virtue's Patience 5 Pocket Tapered Jean in Chocolate) paired with black Loubs and a bright yellow python clutch (Julie K Handbags' Envie Python Clutch in Berry Python is a similar bag in a striking shade of pink). While I'm sure many of you have seen the scene of Hilary putting the live scorpion down her pants for her new film War, Inc. when it spread around the internet about a month ago, and now Hilary is speaking out about what it was like to film that scene. Duff told LA Confidential magazine "I really did [put a live scorpion down my pants]. It was scary. I grew up in Texas, and we had plenty of scorpions, but I never had to put one down my pants before. And my pants weren’t that baggy, so I couldn’t get any space. I did it a couple of times with it going down my leg, and it was terrifying. The little thing kept doing backbends because it obviously didn’t want to go in my pants, you know? Everyone on set was cheering!" Yowza!!! Talk about a dedication to her craft!

John Cusack's praise for Hil

Hilary Duff was spotted shopping on Robertson Boulevard on May 10 (and was basically swarmed by paparazzi), going super casual and managing to look stylish even though she's basically just wearing a hoodie and jeans. To steal Hil's casual look, grab Kushcush's adorable Samantha Hoodie in Silver and pair with skinny black denim (like Denim of Virtue's Patience 5 Pocket Tapered Jean in Black) and flip flops. Accessory wise, Hil threw on a patterned scarf with gradient red shades (similar to JeeVice Optics' Edgy Sunglasses in Red) and a massive keychain. Is Hilary moonlighting as a janitor!? While Duff seems to be doing more acting than singing lately, her co-star and director in the film War, Inc., John Cusack, is heaping praise on the young Duff. Of Hil, John says, "We knew she wanted to do the movie, which takes a lot of courage for a young girl who's already got huge fan base, who's a big popstar. If you think about it, if you want to hold the screen with Sir Ben Kingsley, Marisa Tomei, and Joan Cusack, you’d better be good. And not only did she hold her own, I think she’s every bit as charismatic and wonderful as those other three actors." Wow! Quite the praise from Mr. Cusack. What do you think, is he right?

Duff dishes on new character

Hilary Duff hit up TRL in NYC on April 29 to promote her new film, War, Inc., which John Cusack wrote, produced and stars in. Hilary looked radiant and adorable as always, seeming to be freshly bronzed and sporting bountiful waves for her TRL appearance. To get an outfit like Hil's, start with a flirty silk top, like Black Halo's Shirred Halter Top in Red and pair with Denim of Virtue's Daisy Duke Shorts (the same short shorts that Hil is wearing, but in grey), which are also similar to Tag Jeans' Buttoned Roll-Short in Black with Gold Stitching. Accessory wise, Hilary was all about statement pieces, as she paired sparkling hoops (if you're feeling decadent, nab Lana Jewelry's Diamond Luck N Love Earrings in Rose, White and Yellow Gold) with a big cuff and silver ring (reminiscent of Femme Metale Jewelry's Koi Ring in Sterling Silver). Duff spoke out at TRL about her character, Yonica, in the upcoming film, saying what a challenge it was to play a character like her. Duff says, "It was such a trip for me to do this character because it was so different from who I am and even the way I looked in it– she has an accent, she’s Eastern European, she’s a little oversexed, super young, she doesn’t know what she’s doing. And the way she dresses is really cheesy and out of control. It was fun for me to do something so different from who I am." I wonder if Hil will be convincing in this roll, it sounds like it would have been perfect for La Lohan- oversexed, super young and out of control... ideal!

Will hilary's new zip code be 90210?

Hilary Duff was spotted in Malibu on April 20 toolin' around in a pair of Pretty Woman-esque boots. Her boots are definitely made for walking (and running from the looks of things!). For the rest of her look, Hilary paired cuffed silk shorts (like Johnson's black version, the Silk Shorts with Cuff) over tights, as well as a black coat (like Ecoganik's Mia Jacket in Black), sunglasses (check out JeeVice Optics' Red Hot Sunglasses in Brown Fade) and a studded white belt. E! Online is reporting that Hil in now in talks to star in the much buzzed about "90210" spin-off, allegedly because producers of the show reached out to her because they thought she was just right for the role. The role in question, sources say, "is that of Annie Mills. Annie is a Beverly Hills High student who is into theater acting, just like her predecessor. She’s listening to emo bands, and she yearns to fit in with the alternative crowd and leans a lot on her adopted brother, Dixon." I wonder if Hilary will decide to take this role or not- what do you think? Should Hilary sign up for the "90210" spin-off?

Hilary lets out her inner slut

Hilary Duff was spotted making a healthy pitstop during a day of errands with her mom at Whole Foods in LA on March 24, lugging her bag of nutritious goodies to her car while the paps snapped away. Wearing a casual kick-around-town outfit, Hil started her look with a pair of knee length denim shorts (check out 7 for All Mankind's Dojo Bermuda Short in Lagoon) and paired with a white tank (like Sydney Los Angeles' Sydney Tank in Dawn) and a cream colored shrug. Accessory wise, it was all about silver bangles, a black scarf (similar to Elizabeth Gillett Ltd's Imelda Shawl in Black) and gladiator sandals. Hilary has set tongues a-wagging and fingers a-typing over a clip from her upcoming film War Inc. that hit the net this week, featuring Hil putting a live scorpion down her pants. Yowza! Hilary's role in the film is that of a "slutty pop star," and Hil's co-star, John Cusack, said recently that "Hilary played a pop idol from central Asia. So, she was like a Hilary, but not Hilary, because Hilary is so classy, but like a real, and I won't name names, but a real slutty pop star... Hilary is the opposite of that, of course. I think for her to play that, or to parody that, was really great." How many times can he say the name Hilary in that quote- jeez! A burning question

Hilary Duff was spotted grabbing two coffees to go at Starbucks in Hollywood on March 24, leading some to believe that Hil has become a caffeine fiend, a la the Olsen twins, by requiring two coffees to keep her going throughout her day. Caffeine fiend or normal person? I've found myself grabbing a double dose of caffeine on numerous occasions! Hil kept it basic with her look, pairing black leggings (like Laura Dahl's Longfellows Leggings in Noir) with a white tank (I'm loving Rails' Lexi Tank in White) and sparkly jeweled gladiator sandals. Hil also toted along a giant YSL bag, and for a few similar (yet much more affordable) options, check out Julie K Handbags' Debby Tote with Zipper Pockets in Black Patent or Aaneta's Olivia Bag in Black Patent. Hilary has been doing a lot of her normal day-to-day lately: grabbing coffee, shopping up a storm, and picking up groceries in Burbank. Tapping her brain on fashion

Hilary Duff was spotted going on a little shopping expedition at Saks in Beverly Hills on March 16, looking adorable as always. Hil started her outfit with a pair of charcoal grey leggings (like Zoa's Logo Long Leggings in Charcoal), in addition to a slouchy black top (check out Ziji's Kimono Sweater Coat in Black). Hil accessorized with big gold hoop earrings (she is pretty much the queen of gold hoops in all shapes and sizes- take a look at Kimberly Faith's Large Domed Hoop Earrings in Gold), a pair of gold gladiator sandals and a funky pair of square-shaped shades (I am loving JeeVice Optics' Red Hot Sunglasses in Brown Fade). While many of you out there admire Hilary's sense of style, she has spoken out to the press lately about how she manages to look good with the hectic schedule she has. She says, "It’s crazy, but actually, keeping this schedule has taught me a lot of tricks about what to wear when I need things to be easy. I now have outfits that are both unique and quick that I know will absolutely work no matter where I’m going - I love that. I’m very particular about the structure, texture, and detail of all my clothes. duff's mickey mouse update

Hilary Duff was spotted braving the cold New York weather while out shopping in Soho with BF Mike Comrie on March 5. Obviously letting the giggle monster get the better of her (I wonder what was so funny?), Hilary opted for warmth and comfort with her outfit. Starting with a warm black coat (check out Ecoganik's Fleece Wide Collar Coat in Black) and a wine colored patterned scarf, Hilary slipped into a super-skinny pair of denim (like Serfontaine's Starlight Jean in Rinse) and a pair of classic white Uggs. Duff accessorized with an over-the-shoulder black leather bag and a big pair of gold hoops (Rachel Leigh's Circular Earrings in Gold are funky and fabulous). It seems that Hilary has been asked to cover "The Mickey Mouse March" for an upcoming Disney Mobile promotion, and Hil jumped at the chance. Hil said in a statement, "'The Mickey Mouse March' was such a classic song, you know, so many people know it. And I feel it’s kind of like an anthem song when you hear it. You know, it’s kind of stuck in your head for a very long time. I was kind of in a way honored just to get to do a new version… kind of my take on it that’s up to date where you music is now but it’s such a traditional song." Wait, what is "The Mickey Mouse March"? Is it that song that goes "M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E"? I think it is, but how many different ways can you sing a song that is essentially spelling a mouse's name? Just saying!

Duff's (anything but) rough life

Hilary Duff ran a few errands during the day of February 22, before heading out to a dinner at Mr. Chows with sis Haylie. All I have to say about Hil's 'fit: killer boots! I'm not sure whether I love them or hate them, but they definitely make an impact. For the rest of her look, Hil started with a pair of black skinny jeans (like Deener's Highwaist Cigarette Jean in Tar) and paired with a white tank (Rails' Alina Ruffle Tank in White is super adorable). Next up was a cropped brown leather jacket, and finally, Hilary accessorized with a LV datebook and leopard print bag (check out Julie K Handbags' Lula Fur Mini Messenger Bag in Leopard). It seems that after her long night out with her sister, Duff needed a pick-me-up, as she was spotted grabbing breakfast and orange juice at Coral Tree Cafe in Brentwood, looking super comfy in a pair of Uggs and jeans. Oh, to be a Duff!

They balance each other out

Hilary Duff was spotted leaving a romantic dinner at the Waverly Inn in New York City on February 18 with boytoy Mike Comrie (who bore a shockingly similar resemblance to Hil's old boo- and Nicole Richie's main squeeze- Joel Madden), and there's something different about her, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's just her lighter locks that are throwing me for a loop, but if I'm not mistaken, I think Hil has dropped quite a few pounds of late. Look how much thinner her face looks! Just saying. Hil's stuck to basic black with a pop of vibrant color for her outfit, starting her look off with a ruffled halter top (Autumn Cashmere's Sequin Halter Dress in Black has a very similar neck to Hil's top) and pairing with a pair of cropped black pants (check out Hudson Jeans' more casual Appeal Crop Pant in Black). Duff accessorized with a pair of firetruck red pumps, a classic Chanel bag and a pair of dangly hoop earrings (like Michele Michel Jewelry's Swarovski Hoops in Silver). It seems that the Duffster and Mr. Comrie are still going strong, despite the fact that Hilary has been traveling so much lately due to her Dignity World Tour. Mike's gruff macho-esque hockey player attitude seems like a good balance for Hilary's totally girly side, wouldn't you agree?

Hilary talks skin

Hilary Duff was spotted walking down Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills on February 13, carrying a movie script and talking business with a few men in suits. Hil on the other hand looked girly and chic, in a patterned mini dress (might I suggest Tricia Fix's Kirsten Satin Mini Dress in Black and Orange Spear or Karen Zambos' Short Satin Dress in Striped Satin) if you're looking for a flirtatious patterned mini) with a black sweater (check out Autumn Cashmere's Cable Drape Neck Top in Black. Duff accessorized her look with a pair of white pumps and a sparkly silver necklace (like Maya Brenner Designs' Sparkler Necklace in Sterling Silver) with her bag du jour, her new grey Louis Vuitton. It seems that Hilary is one of the latest celebs to jump on the good cause bandwagon, as she has been photographed for the Vaseline 'Skin is Amazing' campaign. The celebrity photos will be auctioned off and the proceeds will benefit the Coalition of Skin Diseases. Hilary is quoted saying that her skin "blushes when she’s embarrassed, but she is comfortable in it." Adorable!

Miley hearts Hilary

Hilary Duff was spotted in Studio City, CA getting her nails done on February 11, and seemed pretty chipper about the shockingly bright shade of white she chose for her manicure (check out the after-picture on the right!). Going casual for a day of errands, Hil's outfit consisted of a white tank (check out Rails' Lexi Tank in White) with a pair of dark skinny jeans (like Joe's Jean's Cigarette Super Slim Jean in Kennedy), a grey leather bag with a thick braided strap and a clustered silver chain necklace (super similar to Gemma Redux's Becka Necklace with Green Onyx). It seems that tween sensation Miley Cyrus is one of Hilary's biggest fans, and admires the fact that Hil stuck to the "good girl route," and didn't get all sexed up like Britney or Lindsay. Miley said in a recent interview that she admires Hilary, saying that Hilary's "kind of set the way for all of us, not only just in a business sense, but [by] saying that it is OK to be a good girl. Like, that’s cool! It’s kind of just given us all inspiration to go out. Whether it was her or not, I would definitely be doing what I’m doing, but she definitely made it more acceptable." Aw, how cute... Hilary's a role model for little Miley! But now, can someone explain to me what all of this Hannah Montana craziness is about?

No lip syncing for hil

No, this isn't Mary-Kate Olsen, it's just Hilary Duff doing her best MK impersonation. Spotted leaving a Beverly Hills Starbucks on January 27, 2008, it's clear who Hil's style icon du jour is. Going for the "just rolled out of bed yet still chic" look (and for the most part pulling it off), Hilary started her outfit with a purple knit cap and a pair of supersized shades (check out Nour's Moman Sunglasses in Street). Duff further accessorized with a pair of unique hoops (I'm totally loving Michele Michel Jewelry's Swarovski Hoops in Silver), a quilted Chanel bag and a huge set of keys (is Hil moonlighting as a janitor?). For her clothing, Hil opted for a faded blue hoodie (like Rails' Corado Pucker Hoodie Sweater in Dusty Blue) with a pair of dark, skinny jeans (similar to Deener's Charmer Skinny Jean in Helium). In case you haven't heard, Duff had an Ashlee Simpson-esque mini scandal earlier this month when, while performing in Mexico, she was seen silently singing into her microphone during a part of a song. "Faulty equipment" is allegedly to blame, with Hil's camp saying, "The microphone was faulty and she could clearly be heard singing by fans at the front of the stage. There was no sound coming out, but she was singing." Why is everyone always so shocked when singers are accused of lip syncing? While certain singers who are more "seasoned" and have, let's be honest, better pipes than Duff and sing live, Hilary's shows are more about the performance and less about her voice, don't you think?

Hil dishes on body image

Hilary Duff was seen leaving a hairdressers appointment on November 21 in Los Angeles with sister Haylie, rocking a look that I can guarantee some will love, and some will not. Wearing a long white skirt (check out JW Los Angeles' Cherry Blossom Skirt in White) with a black scoop neck tee (like Woo's Nikkie Tee in Black), a wide gold bangle (like Rachel Leigh's Panel Bangle in Gold and a black patent bag (Antoinette Lee Designs' Besa Stitch Hobo in Black Patent), what do you think of Hilary's long skirt choice- love it or hate it? I'm on the fence... I'm waiting to hear what you have to say about it in the comments! In other Hil news, she is speaking out candidly to OK! Magazine regarding, among other things, her own body image, and opens up on the time in her life when she bordered on scary-skinny. Hil says, "There definitely was a time, about a year and a half ago, when I was pretty obsessed with my body and my weight. It's not attractive when girls get superskinny. Guys don't like it. Girls don't like you as much. You lose some happiness when that's all you think about." I totally see where Hilary's coming from, because it's obvious when all someone is thinking about is food and calorie intake, they are unable to enjoy other things in their life. Seems like Hil sure is wising up!

Together again?

Hilary Duff was spotted getting her pamper on as she was seen leaving a massage parlor in Toluca Lake, Ca on November 14, looking super comfy yet still staying stylish. In black sweats (like Rails' Corado Pucker Hoodie Pant in Black) with a basic tee (check out Misile's cute Stenciled T-Shirt in White) and a funky scarf, Hil accessorized with delicate earrings (similar to Christie Martin Jewelry's 3 Oval Earrings) and a brown leather bag (Linea Pelle's Dylan Bag in Mahogany is similar). While all the drama with Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan and Aaron Carter seems like it all happened a million years ago (hello, it did!), it seems that Hil's not ready to let go of her preteen first love. The Duffster and Mr. Carter were spotted together out and about on Thursday in Los Angeles, and although they kept their distance, there was definitely some noticeable tension between the two. Maybe it's the fact that the both have significant others, as Hil is dating hockey player Mike Comrie and Carter has been rumored to be hooking up with Brooke Hogan (I know, right?). Either way, I wonder what they were doing hanging together once again? Any thoughts?

Hilary gives lap dances?

Well this might not technically be a turtleneck that Hilary Duff is wearing, but it's definitely in the turtle/cowl neck family! The piece in question is a grey knit sweater (Zoa's Mock Neck Bell Sleeve Dress in Dove Grey, Paper Denim & Cloth's Cable Sweater Vest in Natural and IISLI's Ibiza Top in Heather Grey are similar cowl slash turtle neck pieces) that Hilary wore with black leggings (check out Hudson Jeans' Skinny Leg Knit in Black), black boots and with her Louis Vuitton Damier bag. Currently in New York with ice hockey player boyfriend Mike Comrie, it seems that H.Duff showed off some of her wild side while on a recent night out. Sources tell the New York Daily News that when Hil and Mike hit up New York hotspot Tenjeune, "Hilary looked nothing like the sweet little ‘Lizzie Maguire’ she once was as she treated Mike to a series of raunchy lap dances. She was having a wild night, drinking Veuve Clicquot straight out of the bottle.” Straight out of the bottle? Work it out, Hil! The source continued to say that when the DJ started playing Hilary's song "Wake Up", Hilary seemed embarrassed and stopped dancing, being helped out of the club by friends a short while later. If you were a pop star and your own song came on when you were out for the night, would you be embarrassed and slink out or rock it out and dance up a storm to your own jam?

hil feels for brit and linds

Hilary Duff continues to rock her hot new look as she appeared in a different outfit at the Los Premios MTV Latin America 2007 Awards on October 18 in Mexico City, Mexico, looking all sorts of smokin' in this sultry little number. Wearing a vibrant tube dress (similar to Holly's Madison Tube Dress with Ruffle in Atlantis and Lotta Stensson's Shirred Tube Dress in Peacock) with a black waist belt (like Linea Pelle's Lambskin Waist Belt in Black), tons of gold bangles and irridescent earrings (check out Vevina Juji's Coconut Shell Earrings), Hilary is definitely taking her more mature, yet still age appropriate, look to a whole new level. Hilary has spoken out recently to Cosmopolitan UK about the sorry state of some of her It Girl contemporaries, such as Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, but not in a negative way. Hil basically says that she would never ridicule or make fun of Brit or Linds, and hopes that they can get better. Hilary says, "It saddens me to know when one does not look for help, not looking for the support of family or friends. I think that the first thing that someone must do: family, help me to improve, help me to leave this behind. That's what they should have to do." Kind of hard for Lindsay to do that, though, with a loco momma like Dina!

Here comes the brand new Hilary

Hilary Duff stepped onto the red carpet at MTV's Los Premios in Mexico City on October 19 looking all sorts of yummy, like she had bathed in honey or something... her skin is absolutely glowing! This has to be the best I've ever seen Hilary look. Wearing a sultry gold minidress (Crispin and Basilio's Bow Dress is a similar, more casual gold mini) with all gold accessories- gold bag (like Julie K Handbags' Ella Bag in Gold), gold bangle (like Rachel Leigh's Panel Bangle in Gold) and gold earrings (like Vevina Juji's Majestic Hoops in Gold)- Hilary, in a word, looks flawless. Others seemed to think so as well, as a reviewer who took in Hil's Mexico City stop of her world tour focused less on her music and more on her sultry looks! A reporter from The Sun said that "Hilary wasn't afraid to show off some saucy moves much to the pleasure of the male members of the audience." But what about her young fans who adored her on Lizzie McGuire? Looks like there's a whole new Hilary in town now, kids! What do you think, do you prefer Hil to be more innocent and girly, or do you think her sizzling, more mature look works for her?

Don't drown, hil!

Hilary Duff was spotted leaving the Burke Williams Spa on October 2 after having some allegedly much needed R&R. Wearing grey sweats (check out these cute and different Ecoganik Side Tie Capri Sweats in Stilleto) with a white tank (Laura Dahl's Waikiki Top in White is a jazzier version of the basic white tank), black sweater (like Bellekat's Short Bella Sweater in Black), a black patent bag and a turquoise Chanel cuff, Hilary definitely seems focused on getting her lipgloss application just right. The reason why I mentioned that Hil's time at the spa was for some much needed R&R is that Hil had a drowning scare while filming her new film! While filming a scene in the ocean off of the New Jersey shore, it seems that the overpowering waves were too much for Duff to handle and two men in wetsuits had to come to her rescue. In the scene, Hil was supposed to merely float on her back, yet a serene float was quite the opposite of what actually happened! Alls well that ends well, however, as Hil wasn't hurt by the incident, and emerged seemingly unfazed. I wonder if Hil signaled for the men to come to her aide, or if the crew was just being overly cautious? I'm going to cast my vote for an overly cautious crew… because why take chances when a starlet's life may be in peril?
