Blake Lively was spotted trying to hail a cab in NYC on Memorial Day, May 26, and is finally going public with her romance with "GG" co-star Penn Badgley. The two were spotted holding hands as they strolled down the street! Ok, now everyone collectively say "Awwwww!" For her Memorial Day outfit, Blake chose a light and airy ruffled mini dress, and for similar options check out Gold Hawk's Mini Ball Dress in White Essence, Karina Grimaldi's New Michael Mini Dress in White, and LaROK's dressier Coco Sequin Dress in White. Accessory wise, Blake toted around a ruched bag (as well as an iced beverage) and slipped her tootsies into slouchy brown flat boots. Maybe it's just me but I'm not feeling those boots with that dress, thoughts? While Blake and Penn are posed to be Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody 2.0, I hope that their relationship will not be affected by their work, because it is tricky working with someone you are romantic with. I do hope that they work out though, but it is tricky... I'm just saying!

The dark secret

Besides MKO, Blake Lively was also spotted workin' it on the red carpet of the 3rd Annual Chanel Dinner Party Honoring the Tribeca Film Festival Artist Program on April 28, looking lovely as always. Blake wore a silky lace Chanel number, but for a more affordable and wearable look (but one that is still classy), feast your peepers on Betsey Johnson's Sheath Dress in Black, and paired it with nude satin stilletos. In GG news, if you caught Monday night's ep, you are well aware that Blake's character's (Serena van der Woodsen) world was rocked with the return of bad girl bad influence ex-BFF Georgina Sparks (played by "Buffy" alum Michelle Trachtenberg). Georgina returned to NYC from an alleged stay in Switzerland. At the end of the juicy ep, Georgina was seen sneakily seducing S' boyfriend, Dan, and next week's little preview showed S finally confronting G about their dirty, dark secret. What do you think that these former bad girls got themselves into? I know one thing, I will definitely be tuning in next week to find out. And one last thing... if you don't watch the show, you definitely need to start!

Blake vs. Leighton?

Blake Lively was spotted looking pretty lively on the set of "Gossip Girl" in New York on April 21, stopping to pose for the cameras while in character. Wearing a chic coat over a basic cream tank (like Sydney Los Angeles' Sydney Tank in Dawn White), Blake finished off her look with a pair of black denim (check out James Jeans' Hector 5 Pocket High Rise Jean in Black Flex), tall boots, and a chain necklace (Kuo Ting Jewelry's Resin Disc and Black Chain Necklace in Silver is a similar option). While onscreen, Blake and Leighton Meester's characters have a love-hate relationship, OK! Weekly is reporting that things aren't too pleasant off set either. A source says, "Leighton is jealous of everyone. She doesn't like her character's wardrobe. She thinks it's conservative and she's more fashionable and sexy in real life. She once said, 'I look like a dork in my outfits.'" Leighton's rep denies these claims, although she didn't respond to the rumors that Blake and Leighton are making the other cast members "choose sides." Here we go!

She doesn't even look pregnant!

And I thought Paris was bad! Blake Lively was spotted in New York leaving the set of her hit show "Gossip Girl" on April 7 with her furry friend in tow, and it seems like she's been bringing her pup with her everywhere lately! Talk about woman's best friend. But with a doggy as adorable as this one, I can see why Blake would never want to leave its side! Sporting a warm leather jacket over a violet colored top (Paper Denim & Cloth's Leather Trim Top in Peacock is an inspired choice), Blake tucked her straight leg jeans (check out James Jeans' Tom 5 Pocket Straight Leg Jean in Neo Tulsa) into a pair of black leather motorcycle boots. How Rihanna of her! The finishing touch: a leather Chanel handbag. Love the bag, but not feeling the hefty price tag? Fear not. Carla Mancini's Medium Top Zip Cross Stitch Bag in Black is similar and oh-so-desirable. While fans of Blake love her talent and gorgeous looks, some might be surprised to know that she has quite the sense of humor, too! At a recent press event, Blake was asked about her love life, and responded that she "is having Brad Pitt's baby!" Uh-oh... I wonder if Angie knows! And to think, Blake doesn't even look pregnant! Ok, I know she's kidding- that Blake, what a trickster!

"Gossip" is almost back!

Blake Lively was spotted hitting up the Armani Exchange store in NYC on February 29, carrying around her teeny tiny pup with her for her shopping excursion. Making sure to keep warm in a trenchcoat (check out Walter's shorter cropped version, the Cadet Twill Trench Jacket in Grey) paired with a cozy looking sweater (like Signorelli's Open Back Long Sleeve Sweater in Charcoal), Blake slipped into a pair of tapered dark wash denim (like Joe's Jeans' Cigarette Super Slim Jean in Kennedy) and tall black suede boots. Don't forget the scarf to keep the puppy warm in! Blake is back in NYC to resume filming her hit show "Gossip Girl", which was on hiatus due to (obviously) the writer's strike. But fans of the show can expect new episodes starting as soon as April 21. Hooray, now my weekly dose of dirt-dishing can resume!

do i smell a rivalry?

Blake Lively was spotted making her grand entrance to "The Late Show with David Letterman" in NYC on February 5, and I just have to wonder... did she change her outfit before she filmed the show? I didn't catch the episode, did anyone see if Blake did a little outfit switcheroo? Don't get me wrong, her outfit is basic and cute, but it's not really Letterman appropriate, right? She started with a light brown bomber jacket and paired with a basic scoop neck tee (like Rails' Kenna Long Sleeve Tee in Cream) and dark jeans (similar to James Jeans' Hunter High Rise Straight Leg Jean in Blue C), then slipped on a pair of suede boots and she was entrance ready. For those of you who can't get enough "Gossip Girl", it seems that there are some behind-the-scenes rumors that are causing a lot of, ahem, gossip. Allegedly, right before (and during) the writer's strike, the tension on set was skyrocketing between Blake and co-star Leighton Meester, as a source said, "Leighton Meester and Blake Lively avoid each other like the plague while castmates choose sides. Chace Crawford tends to stick close to Leighton, while Penn Badgley hangs on and offscreen with Blake. The crew will snag Blake for a scene just moments before it is shot so they can avoid any awkwardness with Leighton." Hmm, I wonder why the girls are potentially sparring? Maybe they're both fighting for the spotlight? XOXO, gossip girl.

A new hookup for Blake?

Blake Lively was spotted working the carpet at the New Year, New Old Navy Re-Launch Party in NYC on January 30, but let's be honest, it's probably going to be the Same Old Navy! Looking confident and stylish, Blake chose a detailed black top, which could have definitely benefitted from a steam or an ironing, (like Yoana Baraschi's Bold Jewels Silk Twill Top in Black or Lotta Stensson's Love Drawstring Top in Black) with straight leg grey denim (choose Pierce Jeans' Miami Tyler Straight Leg Jen in Dolphin Grey for a sexy, similar pair) and black pumps for her night out. In other recent Blake news, OK! Magazine is reporting that Blake has been cozying up to none other than notorious celebrity-dater, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart. Allegedly, at DIRECTV’s 2nd Annual Celebrity Beach Bowl in Scottsdale, Arizona over the weekend, Matt (who has been linked to Paris Hilton and Kristin Cavallari, among others) was seen getting pretty flirtatious with Blake. Says a source, "There was definitely some kind of chemistry between them. They seemed to really be enjoying each other’s company." Now, whether this was innocent or not, only the two of them know, but... this will definitely squash the rumors that Blake has the hots for "Gossip Girl" co-star Penn Badgley!

Chanel is Blake's drug

In Paris, France for Paris Fashion Week, "Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively was photographed with iconic Chanel designer and living legend Karl Lagerfeld at the Chanel Haute Couture Fashion Show on January 22. Dressed in (what else) head to toe Chanel, Blake stunned in a simple yet chic LBD with a silvery long cardigan, opaque black tights, pearls and of course the requisite Chanel bag. To get Blake's haute couture look for less, start with Gold Hawk's similar Accordian Dress in Dark Slate and pair with a classic string of pearls, like Brian Nagourney Jewelry's Tang Dynasty Loops Necklace. Top your look off with an elegant long sweater, like Elizabeth Gillett's Brenda Sweater in Ivory, and you're practically runway ready. Going to the Chanel runway show and meeting Uncle Karl must have been a dream come true for Blake, who has recently confessed of her undying love for the classic designer. Blake says, "I love Chanel so much. It’s everything. It’s the epitome of what a lady should be. It’s class. I have the shoes, the jewelry, it’s really a problem. They say it’s an addiction. Some people take drugs; I do stuff with Chanel. The bags are a problem. I just got one right before I came here. I just got this big, beautiful, leather clutch that says Chanel on it. It’s black. It’s actually written out Chanel.. instead of the CC, which you don’t see very often. That was really exciting." How about the rest of you ladies, do you feel the same about Chanel? Real life "OC"? No way

"Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively worked the red carpet of The Help Group's Teddy Bear Ball back on December 03, 2007, proving she has what it takes to be a breakout style star. Wearing an adorable and unique LBD (check out Karen Zambos' Ashley Dress in Black and Ella Moss' Jacinda Crew Neck Dress in Black for a few other Blake-inspired LBD's) with black tights and metallic heels, Blake was also rockin' her trademark ear to ear grin, showing off those pearly whites of hers. The internet has been abuzz lately with gossip about whether or not Blake and her GG co-star Penn Badgley are a real life couple or not. How very Seth and Summer (or Adam and Rachel, take your pick!). It seems that this was merely a rumor, however, as Blake has spoken out on the rumors, saying, "Everybody always tries to dig into your personal life or create things that aren't there. It's silly. Any male friend is obviously a 'romance alert,' but I've always been friends with boys my whole life. People just want to talk. They want to create negative things about you and your life and make up things. You can't let them affect you." Way to be strong, B! What do you think, is it ever a good idea for co-stars to date, or does it always lead to disaster (keep in mind that Brad and Ange met on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and they're still going strong). Hmm... thoughts?

A little nip and tuck for blake?

"Gossip Girl" breakout star Blake Lively was spotted looking gorgeous as ever at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Young Collectors Council Artist's Ball on December 13 in New York. Rocking a classic black and white look with a mega-watt smile and voluminous hair, Blake chose a chic one-shoulder white dress (similar to LaROK's Cleo Dress in Papaya or Ella Moss' Beatrice Bow Tie Dress in Vanilla) with black tights, patent leather black pumps and an oh-so-classic gold cocktail ring (check out Rachel Leigh's Domed Ring in Gold). Before rising to the top of everyone's hot list by starring on the hit show "Gossip Girl", Lively was a little known actress most known for her role in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Now, she is being lauded as an up-and-coming fashionista in her own right, but might her confident new look have had something to do with a little plastic surgery? The internet is ablaze with rumors that Blake had a nose job prior to being cast as Serene van der Woodsen on "Gossip Girl", and there are numerous photos to back up this claim. Whether she did or didn't, no one can argue with the fact that this face is truly one to watch out for in the future!
