Ashlee Simpson was spotted at TRL in New York City on February 25, promoting her new single, "Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya)". It seems that Ashlee has tired of her prior blonde look and has opted to jump over to the red side, and it seems from her spirited attitude in these pictures that Ashlee is definitely having more fun as a redhead. Do you like her new look? Outfit wise, Ash chose a purple and blue top (similar to Parameter's gorgeous Silk Top with Applique in Eggplant) and paired it with skinny black jeans (like Deener's High Waist Cigarette Jean in Tar) and black boots. In recent Simpson news, Ashlee has confirmed that she is "promised" to Pete Wentz, but not engaged to him. Ash said that the diamond ring she wears on her ring finger "just means that he hasn't asked my dad yet." He better get word from Papa Joe before popping that question, no doubt about that! I wonder if these two pseudo-rockers get hitched if they will last, a la Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, or if Ashlee will be headed down a fellow Simpson's path, that of Jess and Nick. Thoughts?
